Hey everyone,
I wanted to send out a quick update about my work this fall. I won’t be able to write as much—if at all—over the next 2 to 3 months, as I’ve injured one of my eyes. I had a retinal detachment, which has been a somewhat scary and humbling experience. I’m healing up now, but it’s hard for me to read and write. I’m still hoping to be able to post some other types of materials on The Whole Social, but we’ll just have to see.
That said, it looks like I will still be able to do the other work I planned for the fall—the workshop I’m co-leading with Robert Karp from October 12-15 in Viroqua, Wisconsin. It’s on “Practical Threefolding,” by which we mean threefolding in our everyday lives, in our groups and communities at the local level. It’s been super exciting to plan for this event—it’s a real exploration for all of us at Threefold Driftless (the group in Viroqua working locally with threefolding). If this feels like work you want to take up and explore, I hope you can join us! (And if you want more info on the event, you can find it here.)
Wishing you strength and courage on your path,
Seth
Be and go well, Seth! Hope your recovery is full
Hi Seth,
I am sorry to read about your eye injury. Carol and I wish you a steady recovery. Eye injuries seem to have a time frame all their own for healing.
